By accessing or using ContractReview (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ContractReview provides AI-powered contract analysis. You upload a contract document, and our AI reviews it for potential risks, scoring, and suggested revisions. The Service is a tool for informational purposes only.

3. No Legal Advice

ContractReview is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The analysis, scores, recommendations, and suggested revisions generated by the Service are AI-generated and for informational purposes only. You should always consult a qualified attorney for legal advice regarding any contract.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload contracts containing malware or malicious content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse API endpoints
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its AI models, algorithms, UI design, and generated analysis formats, is owned by ContractReview. You retain ownership of the contracts you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your contracts solely for the purpose of providing the analysis.

7. Data & Privacy

We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Contract text is processed by AI services (including third-party AI providers) for analysis. We do not use your contracts to train AI models. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any analysis. AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ContractReview shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated analysis.

10. Payment & Refunds

Paid features, when introduced, will be clearly marked with pricing. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Refund policies will be specified at the time of purchase. Currently, the Service is in beta and provided free of charge.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, abusive behavior, or any activity that may harm the Service or other users.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
